P. Jacques Psychotherapy

Biography
I have worked in the mental health field for the past twenty years. I have acquired a range of experience working collaboratively with individuals, groups and teams within an educational setting and a private practice.
I hold a Joint Honours Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy/Media Sociology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychoanalytical Observational Studies (The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy.
I possess in-depth knowledge and experience of mental health conditions that some people may describe, when using the medical model, as mood and personality disorders. I have worked with clients with learning differences and neurodiversity, such as autism, dyslexia, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
I have helped individuals address unconscious issues associated with separation, transition, loss, and trauma, which may initially present consciously as low mood, depression and anxiety. I have helped individuals understand themselves when they are unsure of their emotional continuity and connectedness.
I regularly update my knowledge and skills within my Clinical Supervision. I also enjoy reading papers and books and attending CPD to broaden my knowledge.
